The Science Behind the Dancing Flame
The Tempest Lantern’s swirling flame is inspired by the same airflow principles that create tornadoes. As the flame heats the air inside the lantern, cooler air is drawn inward. When these air currents meet, they rotate around one another—producing the signature, hypnotic spiral flame that sets the Tempest Lantern apart.

Power with the Tempest Transformer
The Tempest Transformer (sold separately) is required to operate the electronic ignition system. A single transformer can power up to six Tempest Lanterns or Torches, making it easy to create a cohesive and dramatic fire lighting display.
