The Science Behind the Spiral Flame
The signature dancing flame is inspired by the same airflow principles that create tornadoes. As the flame heats the air inside the torch, cooler air is drawn in and the two air streams begin to rotate around each other—forming the iconic swirling flame effect that makes the Tempest Torch truly one of a kind.
Flexible Installation Options
The Tempest Torch offers four mounting configurations, allowing you to customize placement throughout your outdoor space:
-
Ground Post
-
Deck Post
-
Pillar Mount
-
Wall Mount
Power with the Tempest Transformer
The Tempest Transformer (sold separately) is required to operate the electronic ignition system. One transformer can power up to six Tempest Torches, making it easy to create a dramatic, cohesive fire display across your outdoor area.
Built for All-Weather Performance
Constructed with four sides of heat-tempered glass, the Tempest Torch has been rigorously tested to withstand extreme heat, freezing temperatures, and year-round outdoor conditions. Its 24V AC Hot Shot electronic ignition system is among the most reliable in the industry and includes an automatic gas shut-off for added safety should the flame ever go out.
Bold, modern, and engineered for reliability, the Tempest Torch delivers unforgettable firelight that transforms any outdoor space after dark.
