With a 99.9 percent energy efficient design, this fireplace makes a great option for your wallet and the environment. With a heat output of 36,000 BTU, this fireplace also makes an excellent choice for those looking to effectively heat a room. The Vail fireplace is highly customizable with multiple trim and liner options to choose from to create a display matched to your style. The Vail fireplace also includes Empire's impressive Slope Glaze Burner system. This burner features integrated ceramic beads that tumble gas during operation for a more realistic flame pattern. This resulting effect creates a fire that more authentically replicates the appearance of a natural wood fireplace.

This fireplace can also be customized with your chocie of either an intermittent pilot or millivolt ignition system. The intermittent pilot ignition system option eliminates the need for a standing pilot to save energy--and money. In the event of a power outage, this system can also be operated completely on battery backup. Alternatively, this fireplace can be purchased with a millivolt valve. The millivolt system utilizes a standing pilot and can be used with a convenient remote control (sold separately).
